The IOC has suspended India's national Olympic committee on 4 Dec  because of the interference of government officials in the election procedure.

After warnings , the IOC  panel imposed the sanction when IOA has failed  to have an independent elections, the officials announcement has been not made yet .

The suspension meant that the IOA will not receive ant funds and Indian officials are banned to attend the board meeting and events. The athletes will be bared from participating in Olympics  under national flag.
